Moonstone Hotel Properties opened these doors in 1992, and we never fully let go. As of August 2026, FogCatcher Inn is back under the management of Moonstone Hotel Properties, which is owned and run by the same family behind Cambria Pines Lodge, Sea Otter Inn, The J. Patrick House & Inn, Cambria Nursery, 46 Ranch and the Cambria Christmas Market.

It started in 1983, when Dirk Winter built the Sea Otter Inn a few doors down and named the company for the moonstones scattered along the shore of Moonstone Beach. More than forty years later, our roots in Cambria run deeper than ever. We look forward to welcoming you to the FogCatcher Inn.
